Representatives from all NPM bodies attend an annual conference and communicate throughout the year about their NPM work, which follows the business plan. The NPM has a rotating Chair, appointed from one of the 21 NPM organisations for a three year term. A Steering Group facilitates decision making for the NPM, according to the Constitution agreed by members in 2023.
The Chair appoints a Head of NPM to lead the day-to-day running of the organisation.
